Gaziantep is one of the leading trade and industrial hubs of Southeastern Türkiye, with a strong manufacturing base and export-oriented economy. In recent years, the city has been increasingly focusing on integrating its industrial strength with innovation and entrepreneurship.

GBB Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş., together with ecosystem stakeholders, provides mentorship, training, and networking opportunities for startups. The local startup ecosystem is further supported through regular meetings, workshops, and entrepreneurship events that foster collaboration between founders, investors, and institutions.

Key ecosystem stakeholders include the TÜBİTAK BİGG, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO), Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTO), Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, Gaziantep University, Hasan Kalyoncu University, SANKO University, GIBTU, Gaziantep Technopark, OSB Technopark and the İpekyolu Development Agency (İKA). Through these collaborations, initiatives are being developed to strengthen entrepreneurship, innovation capacity, and angel investment mechanisms in the region.
